Shetland fiddle player, Ross Couperis best known for playing his exciting brand of fiddle in the genre defining Peatbog Faeries. The Ross Couper Band (Ross Couper on fiddle, Sam Mabbett on melodeon, Michael Biggins on piano, and Paul Jennings on drums) made their debut at Celtic Connections 2023 when they performed Ross's New Voices commission.
