On this, her second album, Karen Marshalsay plays the three Scottish harps - the lever harp, the wire-strung clarsach from the Gaelic tradition, and the bray harp with its distinctive buzzing tone, from the renaissance and baroque periods. Eadarainn a' Chruit: Between Us the Harp celebrates connections - between the musicians, the music, the melodies, the words and the rhythms, people and places, and Scotland and Ireland - with harp at the centre of it all.
