At the start of this year, Live Music Now Scotland collaborated with Delphian Records to create an album of LMNS commissions by five of Scotland's finest composers to mark the organisation's 40th anniversary. By commissioning new music from Karine Polwart, Jennifer Martin, Erin Thomson, Savourna Stevenson and John McLeod, Live Music Now Scotland not only supports building careers with exceptional professional performing and recording experience, but at the same time brings the magic of music to those who may not be able to access it.
