Taking the UK scene by storm and wowing audiences at festivals across Europe, Jeri & Ruth join forces to produce powerful, driving fiddle & banjo tunes and songs.

Jeri Foreman has been playing and loving old-time fiddle for about a decade and is a
founder of the Glasgow Old Time Session. After playing all of the major folk festivals in
Australia, she went travelling and jamming through North America and Europe, settling in
Glasgow in 2018. She now works as a session musician in Scotland and tours with a wide variety of projects, including an Americana duo with Grace Honeywell and Glasgow bluegrass band The Fountaineers.
A well-established clawhammer banjo player on the UK scene, Ruth Eliza’s rhythmic
and melodic clawhammer style draws on her love of traditional Appalachian music as well as contemporary banjoists. She also tours with Blue Lass, an all-female five-piece Bluegrass band.

Since recording the One Night Stringband – a joint EP and tour with the duo Old Spot last year – the scene have been waiting excitedly for Jeri & Ruth’s debut album and it does not disappoint!
