Well we’ve just been up the Aberdeen Music Hall for our first recce of the 2013 Scots Trad Music Awards on the 7th December. It’s a great hall with plenty room for tables and balcony seating. The bar areas are also really good so it will make a really good party venue! It’s also really central (Union St, Aberdeen, AB10 1QS) Tickets will go on sale in August for the event so keep an eye here for more information.
We’re just booking our first acts for the Trad Awards and it’s going to be some line up! As well as acts from around the country we will also feature some of Aberdeenshire’s finest talents. The North East has a fabulous tradition and I can’t wait to feature it. I’ll tell you more soon…
Please keep rallying around the traditional music industry. Times are very hard at the moment and we need you to keep using your local suppliers and going to gigs (and paying to get in!)
