We asked Paul Jennings the following questions.
Tell us about yourself
I am a photographer and filmmaker. I have done a wide range of work from band portrait shoots to live music videos. I tend to shoot more of a documentary style. On a shoot I try to find the real moments in-between.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
Yes, I am also a drummer and percussionist. I have been fortunate to play with quite a few trad bands over the years.
Any particular career highlights?
My passion is really to try to create images (still or moving), that are as compelling as possible or that evoke an emotion. An image that you can look at for a long time. If I can do that with any project or for any client, that is always a highlight.
What are your plans for the future?
Keep shooting. Keep learning. Hoping to do my first proper exhibition next year and eventually a book of my photography.
