We asked Martin Forry the following questions.
Tell us about yourself
I am a photographer and film maker who has worked for a wide range of organisations, artists, individuals and publications.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
I have a deep love of traditional music and to work photographing and filming it is an incredible privilege to work with the many musicians and organisations.
Any particular career highlights?
Within Trad music the challenge of taking the young trad semi-finalist Portraits (12 in an hour and a half).
Photographing Rod Mackenzie’s Hands Up for Trad Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame award at his home with all of his family around him.
And most gigs at Celtic connections.
What are your plans for the future?
Create more landscape images and capture more images of the fantastic musicians in the trad scene.

There will also be a late night ceilidh after the Awards till 1am.
