We asked Robyn of Dalry Folk Club the following questions.
Tell us about yourself
Dalry Folk Club was set up 10 years ago with the aim of Keeping Traditional Music Alive. The club is tan by Eddie Dunlop, David Grant and Robyn Grant with the help of our wonderful volunteers.
As well as club nights we also run the Dalry Folk Festival which is in its 5th year.
Any particular career highlights?
Making it to 10 years of the club has been a real highlight, while many clubs struggled after COVID we seemed to come back stronger than ever with our nights being really busy. Our fist festival was also a creat occasion and something we had been building toward for a few years.
What are your plans for the future?
We just moved into a bigger venue which we're hoping will allow us to put in bigger and better events for the community.
