We asked Angus of Skipinnish the following questions.
Tell us about yourself
We've had a wonderful voyage over the last 25 years playing music and songs of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. This year has been one of celebrating the quarter century of the band and sharing memories and highlights with our amazing fans at concerts to mark the occasion.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
It's been a very natural part of our lives since childhood and we are very lucky to be able to be part of the wonderful rennaisance of traditional music that is sweeping the country just now.
Any particular career highlights?
The event that we are nominated for, was without a doubt the highlight of our 25 years. It was a gig of dreams and we are extremely grateful to all who played their part in the 25 year voyage that culminated in that night at Edinburgh Castle in July.
What are your plans for the future?
We'll just keep riding the waves as they come and try to dodge the rocks and keep the music and songs going!
