Tell us about yourself
Unbelievably, Castlesound is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. I sincerely hope someone is celebrating its 100th in years to come!
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
As a business… because we’re based here. As a person, because I get to work with the best of friends and make recordings that really matter.
Any particular career highlights?
Martyn Bennett when his finger rings made more noise that his whistle. Recording James MacKintosh play the ring pull down the toilet.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m 52. I’m still young and don’t need to worry about the future…
