Tell us about yourself
I am a piano player from Shetland, currently based in Glasgow.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
Coming from a place that has such a rich musical tradition, getting involved in Scottish music began as a way for me to connect with/explore the culture and heritage of my home – and it's now something that I am lucky to get to share with other people.
Any particular career highlights?
Career highlights include playing at Celtic Colours and WOMEX 24, getting my debut album longlisted for Scottish Album of the Year 2024, and playing with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
What are your plans for the future?
Plans for the future include recording a second album & developing collaborations with other musicians.
