We asked Jen of Eric Linklater and Jen Austin (JenEric) the following questions.
Tell us about yourself
A fiddle and piano duo from Orkney. After meeting regularly for morning sea dips we decided it might be good to play some music together.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
Both grew up in the thriving music scene in Orkney
Any particular career highlights?
We taught in the north isles of Orkney as part of Fèisean nan Gàidheal’s TVV project. A particular highlight was School dinner at Eday School.
What are your plans for the future?
We are planning new material and songs to perform at our gigs throughout the year ! Hope to see some to you there!
