We asked Calum of Cala the following questions.
Tell us about yourself
We are a 6 piece band originating from Inverness. Half of us are now down studying at the RCS. We released our debut album ‘From the River’ in March of 2023.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
We have all been exposed to traditional music from a young age and met many people through it.
Any particular career highlights?
We particularly enjoyed Lorient Festival earlier this year, it was our first international gig and we had a great time.
What are your plans for the future?
Put on more of our own shows, travel more, release more music.
