Tell us about yourself
Currently celebrating a century of operation, the Caird Hall is the main Concert and Conference venue in Dundee. From the beginning artistes of all genres have played the venue and music has always been a main part of the programming from grass roots to major high profile artistes.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
To help raise the profile of Scottish music and support the artistes involved from grass roots level.
Any particular career highlights?
Over the years there has been many from The Corries selling out two shows every year, to Concerts by Moira Anderson, Kenneth McKellar to Fiddlers Rallys being the hot ticket of the season to the massive sell out shows of The Proclaimers. Scottish music has played a major part in the history of the venue.
What are your plans for the future?
To continue to support artistes/bands of all genres from grass roots level to the high profile touring artistes/bands.
Actively encourage the promotion of music of all genres.
