We asked Innes Scott of Peat & Diesel the following questions.
Tell us about yourself
We are a 3 piece band for Stornoway that were thrown together for a bit of craic to have a few tunes on a Saturday night in the house. It wasn’t meant to be for public consumption!
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
We have no idea. Our frontman Boydie has created songs that people say is a mix of Scottish, folk and punk. We all have traditional Scottish music in our blood though.
Any particular career highlights?
Getting to meet Donnie Munro! All the festivals we have had a chance to play at this year ya been a highlight, we feel we have been given someone else’s place by accident! But we are doing the best we can.
What are your plans for the future?
We are going to keep on keeping on! We are going to try and visit as many places as we can next year to meet the fans that have followed us from day one!
