Friday night session in Broughty Ferry before the Trads

The weekly session in the Fisherman’s Tavern, Broughty Ferry is normally held on a Thursday, but for the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards there will be a special extra session on Friday the 4th December for anyone who might be interested. It’s a fairly rowdy pub session (!) with a mixture of songs and tunes for folks but great fun! The back room will host the session from 8.30 onwards on the Friday night. Food will be available up until 9.00. This is an excellent location in downtown Broughty Ferry, only a 10 minute taxi ride from Dundee City Centre.

The venue is very small but serves real ales and pub grub. There is also accommodation with special room rates for Trad Awards (see below). Sounds great!!

Fisherman’s Tavern have confirmed that Special Room Rates will be available on the Trad Awards weekend – 4th/5th December. £50 Double for B&B and £35 Single, per night. (Mention Trad Awards Rate when you book). Check out the pub website for more info. Tel: 01382 775941.
