The Scots Trad Music Awards are celebrating their 10th year at Fort William’s Nevis Centre on the 7th and 8th December 2012. The acts booked for the Trad Music Awards on the 8th December are:

  • Treacherous Orchestra
  • Karine Polwart
  • Mairearad and Anna
  • Rona Wilkie
  • Inveraray and District Pipe Band
  • National Association of Accordion and Fiddle Clubs Celebration
  • Mike Whellans
  • Man’s Ruin
  • Gaelic Women
  • Gordon Duncan Experience
  • Tribute to National Association of Accordion and Fiddle Clubs

Tickets for this amazing show are £20 and are available from the Nevis Centre Box Office on 01397 700707. The show starts at 7pm.

A new event for 2010 is our Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame Dinner Dance. We will be honouring our 2012 inductees by having a 3 course dinner with compere John Carmichael and amazing legendary acts

Flora MacNeil and Maggie MacInnes
Rona Wilkie and Marit Felt (BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2012)

The Fergie MacDonald Ceilidh Band will host the dance.

Tickets for this are £40 and it will be held in the Alexandra Hotel, Fort William. Dinner will start at 7.30pm.
