The most ambient music I have, this is a special off shoot from my Airs album. When we recording at Crear during a storm, my engineer Kevin Burleigh, unbeknown to me had the idea to record the piano from the end of the room. It was a bit of an experiment... a lovely idea that has turned into this!

Imagine you are sitting in a nice comfy chair in a big beautiful room, drinking a glass of something nice and listening to this girl here play some slow airs on the piano. This record is what I had originally thought 'Airs' would be - solo piano! I suppose it's not solo though, as you can hear the storm alongside the beautiful strings of the Steinway.

It has taken me a while to release this, delays getting things pressed then other projects eating up time. There are only a few hundred copies of the vinyl - once they are gone, they are gone! Only folk who buy the record will receive the digital version too. Although you can listen to a few tracks of it here.
