Any more information you would like to tell us?

The Coigach and Assynt Collective are Rachel Newton, Quee MacArthur, Joseph Peach, Kathleen MacInnes, Ross Whyte, Charlie Grey, Graham Mackenzie and Mairearad Green, who were commissioned by the Coigach Community Development Company in Achiltibuie to collaborate on an album of music inspired by the people and landscapes of Coigach and Assynt. Composed during the Covid-19 pandemic, 'Six Hundred and Thirty-Five Days' is how long it took from the first gathering of the musicians in Achiltibuie in May 2021 to the final mastering. The Coigach Community Development Company - www.coigachcommunity.com - aims to build a resilient and sustainable community and, along with affordable housing and other infrastructure, is building a track record of high quality arts' and heritage projects which celebrate the rich culture of this remote corner of Scotland.
