Dawn Leslie – Introduction to North East Scots at Aberdeen University

An introductory course is being set up at Aberdeen University to introduce students to North East Scots or Doric. The course will explore North East Culture – both written and oral…and help students develop their oral and written skills.
It has been set up by PHd student Dawn Leslie….. faa has spent the last four years exploring the perception o North East Speech for her thesis – gaitherin reaction fae oer 300 fowk – fae aa oer the North East. And she’s come up wi some fascinating results…..
