We begin and end our show this week with music form the Hebridean Island of Tiree. Birthplace of such great current bands as Skerryvore, Skippinish and Trail West as well as home of a great Summer music festival. There’s also music from the Islands great musical heritage in the form of the “Tiree Songbook”.
Also, new music from James Duncan MacKenzie, the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music in Plockton, Dosca and Andrew Douglas.
