Tell us about yourself
The band is a traditional Scottish Dance band that plays for all functions. We play everything from Weddings to Strict Tempo Scottish Country Dancing. We like to use both old and new tunes in our repertoire and we travel all over the UK for functions.
The full band is a six piece band. 2 accordions, fiddle, piano, bass and drums. I strive to take a full band out on every occasion.
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
Ive been involved with Scottish music from the age of 7 and now I am full time professional. Most of the band is full time at the music.
Any particular career highlights?
Recording Take The Floor broadcasts,
Playing at the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle festival.
Recording our début album “Traditionally Inspired”
What are your plans for the future?
To continue playing anywhere and everywhere! To record more albums. Encouragement of the full compliment of the band being booked for events. To get more exposure on media including radio and television.
To enjoy our music and continue to learn and improve.
