What is your principle company activity?
Supporting Scotland’s Traditional Arts by bringing together the Traditional Music Forum, the Scottish Storytelling Forum and the Traditions of Dance Scotland Forum together in shared lobbying, education and promotion.
When and where did the company first start trading?
Tracs is a Scottish Charity founded in 2012
What made you want to work in Scottish culture?
In spired by the diversity, energy and colour of our national music
Can you tell us of any particular company highlights?
Launching TradFest Edinburgh as a new Trads showcase in the capital, and diversifying the Scottish International Storytelling festival to show crossovers of story, music, song and dance.
What are your company’s plans for the future?
To ensure that everyone living in Scotland has the opportunity to learn about their own local traditions and culture and to take part in shaping our traditions for the future.
