Ma name is David Scott an am a teacher fae a schuil I'm Brechin cawed Maisondieu.
Ave been dain it fir whit feels like 6 lang years noo but love it.
Whit wis it got ye involvit wi the Scots leid?
Ma earliest memory o' Scots was when a wis a wee bairn maself at schuil. A veesitor cawed Mr Kennedy came to the schuil and taught us aboot Burns. He was a grumphie fella but he kent his Scots and made me want to ken mair.
So now I dae it wi the bairns I teach.
Ony particlar career heighlichts
Ave had a few wee heighlichts that are brocht take mind when thinking about Scots.
The wan that makes me giee vogie wis pittin oan a play aboot Wallace and Bruce in Scots wi ma bairns.
A wee'er memory wis reading the "Tale of the Wee Mowdie that wantit tae ken wa Keeched on his heid tae mony a class in the schuil a work in. It was braw seeing aw their faces licht up at the Scots Leid.
Wha’s yer plans fir the days aheid?
I jist want tae keep encouraging ma bairns and fellow teachers tae use the Scot leid as muckle as they can. Pit it in ma lessons and keep the bairns excited aboot oor culture.
