An Aberdeenshire Heritage group welcomed guests to the Aden Heritage Museum in Mintlaw – to celebrate the return of one of Scotland’s most valuable treasures – ‘The Book o Deer’.
The book is thought to be one of the earliest examples of written Gaelic in Scotland and was written in the nearby Parish of Deer.
Frieda Morrison joined ‘The Book o Deer Project’ Chair, Anne Simpson at the event and found out more about this historic treasure.
