Tell us about yourself
A member of Treacherous Orchestra, Old Blind Dogs and the Ross and Jarlath Band. Former member of Brolum and Back of the moon. Produced Maeve mackinnons album, Rura album, co produced both TO albums. Currently producing Claire Hastings album!!
Why are you involved in Scottish music?
That’s all I’m good at!!! Prob because I was inspired by Gordon Duncan!!!
Any particular career highlights?
Bbc radio 2 Hydepark with Treacherous Orchestra, playing in the Grit Orchestra at the opening of Celtic connections, producing Maeves album, every gig and recital with Gordon Duncan, playing with the levellers, playing Gordon’s pipes in the piping concert at Celtic connections, master and apprentice gig with Ross Ainslie, Ian Duncan and Gordon Duncan, standing ovation at the trad awards when we played a set of Gordon’s tunes. Performing and recording with everyone I’ve worked with!!!
What are your plans for the future?
Record a solo album, finally get this other bloody band on the go!!! Keep playing music with people I love!!! Own a delorean!!!
