AyePodcast 139 – Scottish Music Podcast

March 24, 2015 By simon

Hi there, Welcome to our latest Scottish music podcast. Featuring a nearly all girl podcast (with one guy!) this month – like our Scottish political leaders! We start of with new Orcadian band Fara playing a tune about Billy’s Short Leg! Next up is a new release from Barluath and their At Dawn of Day album. Next up is Hannah Read is coming to teach at Tinto Summer Schools. This song is from her Wrapped in Lace album. At Hands Up for Trad we have lots of awards and this next artist Fraser Fifield has just received our Ignition Award for innovation within traditional music. We then have a new release (Shift) from Scots singer Kirsty Law and we finish with a slightly older release from The Shee’s Decadence album.

Listen to and download all our other Foot Stompin’ Scottish music podcasts at www.handsupfortrad.co.uk. Thanks for listening!
