Frederick Street composed by Peter Clayton

I wrote this reel while staying in an apartment in Glasgow during the Celtic Connections Festival. I wanted it to have a Scottish feel. The apartment was on Frederick Street South, hence the name of the tune.

Frederick_Street

Peter Clayton began composing fiddle tunes in 2015 at the age of 60. He writes in a variety of traditional styles, eg Irish, Scottish, English, Cajun and has written reels, hornpipes, jigs, waltzes and airs. He writes purely as a hobby and hopes that some people will enjoy his music enough to take some of his tunes into their repertoires. Peter plays guitar, fiddle and mandolin/mandola.

Peter lives in East Yorkshire
