Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame inducts 5 very deserving individuals

DSC_8178-250x250On May 23rd The Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame held its 2014 Induction Dinner. Five very deserving individuals were inducted into the Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame – John Roy MacDonell (deceased), Gerald McGillis (deceased), Kathy Fraser Collins, Carol Kennedy Zadorozny and Donaldson MacLeod. Every month we also post an archival tune of the month on the website. In May that honour went to Johnny Forrest an accomplished accordionist, originally from Carluke Scotland but living in Canada since 1956. The June archival tune of the month was written by young Chris Allen as a tribute to his great grandfather and his $7 fiddle.
