Better be quick! Funded place for a young woman working in the creative industries aged 18-26 to attend the Southbank Centre’s Women of the World (WoW) Festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil from 14-18 November 2018.
As part of British Council Scotland’s work to create new international opportunities during Scotland’s Year of Young People, we are working in partnership with Glasgow Women’s Library, the UK’s only Accredited Museum dedicated to women’s lives, histories and achievements, to offer one fully-funded place for a young woman currently working in the creative industries in Scotland and aged 18-26 to join a Scottish delegation visit to the Southbank Centre’s Women of the World (WoW) Festival Mulheres Do Mundo in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, from 14-18 November 2018.
All costs will be covered by the British Council, to include: travel, accommodation, attendance at the WoW Festival, and a per diem of £20 for each day of the trip.
Travel from Scotland to Brazil will take place from either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The opportunity is open to young women working in the creative industries aged 18-26 and resident in Scotland.
The successful applicant must have a valid passport to enable travel from Scotland to Brazil.
