Applications for Phase One of the FAC’s UK Artist Touring (UKAT) fund will be opening in just one week.
I would be hugely grateful if you could spread the word and help us to ensure that artists from every background, genre and region of the UK know about UKAT and have the chance to apply.
All information about UKAT and how to apply can be found on our hub, at: www.thefac.org/ukatfund. This will remain the most up to date place to find information and apply once the fund is live.
Developed with the support of our friends at the Musicians’ Union and the Music Managers Forum, the UKAT fund will open for applications on Wednesday 11th March, and will close on Friday 20th March.
UKAT is backed by the LIVE Trust, which collects and redistributes £1 donations from tickets on shows of 5000 capacity and above. We have received support from colleagues at Arts Council England and widespread backing from the sector, including from LIVE and UK Music.
We have done an enormous amount of consultation, research and analysis in developing to this stage. In Phase One, we are testing and expect to make adjustments in future rounds, but we are building something that’s fit for the future and is important for the whole of the music industry.
