Time To Shine Unconvention – A celebration of Time to Shine, Scotland’s National Youth Arts Strategy

You are invited to join us for a youth-led celebration of Time to Shine, Scotland’s National Youth Arts Strategy.

The first ever TTS Unconvention takes place on Thursday 20 October at SWG3 in Glasgow from 12:00pm-18:00pm with a programme featuring performances, screenings, presentations, an exhibition, and showcases from a range of youth arts projects.

Time to Shine is Scotland’s first National Youth Arts Strategy. The aim is to support all of Scotland’s children and young people to flourish and achieve through arts and creativity. It covers all 0 to 25 year olds, and focuses on enabling participation, progression and provision.

Whatever your involvement in arts and creative learning this is an ideal opportunity to see first hand the progress of Time To Shine.
Live performances will include some of the most exciting emerging artists, musicians, poets and dancers from all over Scotland.

Breakout sessions will include discussions exploring a range of themes including: Participation; Progression; Provison; youth empowerment; social inclusion; and early years.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Young people (14+) are welcome to attend the event with their youth group or arts organisation. This event is likely to be of interest to young people who are engaged in youth advisory groups, ambassador roles, internships, mentorship programmes or similar youth empowerment activity.
