About The John Byrne Award:
Delivered by the charity The Iris Initiative and patroned by the artist John Byrne, we have been awarding young Scottish creatives since 2010. The competition is open to 16-30 year olds, currently living in Scotland. Distinct from other competitions, we focus on rewarding the values that underpin young people’s creative work. In doing so, the growing archive of entries hosted on our website reflects the key issues young people face in modern Scottish society, providing a national forum for self-expression.
Location: All Scotland
