For many youngsters in rural Scotland, accessing educational opportunities in music can be a significant challenge as it often requires long travel distances to reach courses beyond their local community.
We can provide financial support to cover the cost of additional travel and subsistence faced by youngsters (8-21) resident in rural Scotland who have demonstrated exceptional music ability or potential, and wish to take up opportunities beyond their local area.
The Agar Trust is currently accepting applications from individuals, entry deadline, Saturday 29 August 2026.
Applications from groups remain closed until further notice.
