Teaching Fellow in Composition (The University of Edinburgh)

Applications are invited for a part time (17.5 hours per week) Teaching Fellow in Composition. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in composition and composition-related subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level and to contribute to the supervision and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate compositional portfolios. Applicants will have an established profile as a composer, with expertise in instrumental and/or digital composition.

Applicants will be educated to PhD level in composition or have equivalent professional experience. They should have experience of designing and teaching music courses at university level.

This position is part time (17.5 hours per week) and tenable for a three-year period from September 2018.
