FIRST FOOTING dance artist-in-residence, Nic Gareiss leads a professional development day for established step dance teachers as well as those new to teaching.
This one day summit will include participatory step dance masterclasses, step dance teaching feedback sessions, speakers, informative seminars, and facilitated discussions with the aim of addressing the specific needs of Scottish step dance teachers.
Designed to nourish, enrich, and continue the training needs of this unique group of traditional arts educators, step dance teachers from across Scotland will also have the rare opportunity to connect with their colleagues and cast a new vision for sustainability, preservation, creativity, and community-building for traditional dance in Scotland.
This workshop is free to participate, but there are limited places so advance booking is essential. Email info@tdfs.org
