Project Manager (full-time maternity leave cover)
9 months with the possibility of extension
Scottish Ensemble (SE) is one of the most innovative and outward-looking music ensembles in Europe. From performances with classical singers and instrumentalists to those with visual artists, choreographers, puppeteers and folk musicians, we are committed to creating live experiences that engage a broad audience and make new artistic connections.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced, creative and self-motivated individual to join our team as Project Manager, on a maternity cover contract.
Based at SE’s busy office in Glasgow, this post has responsibility for coordinating SE’s annual programme of concerts, events, and creative learning activity, in conjunction with the Director of Artistic Planning. The post-holder will also be responsible for ‘on-the-road’ concert and project management during touring periods.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of working in an arts environment, preferably the performing arts, as well as a demonstrable passion for classical music.
The contract would suit someone currently working in arts administration, with experience in either creative learning or project planning. Experience of stage or tour management would also be an advantage.
Our priority is to find the best candidate for the role, and so we are willing to be flexible. We may consider condensed hours, part-time working or other structures.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
