Job Description
Fife Cultural Trust is an ambitious charity and its vision is for Fife to be a culturally vibrant and rewarding place to live, work, study and visit. An exciting opportunity for the right candidate, the postholder will lead, manage and develop theatre programming within Fife Cultural Trust.
The post holder will ensure a co-ordinated approach to programming across all our theatre venues, utilising the potential range of physical, financial and staff resources available.
The Individual
You will have gained recent and relevant experience of programming within a theatre or other cultural venues and will ideally have a sound knowledge of the commercial side of the business. Your experience will include audience development, analysis of audience needs and audience led programming. You will be focused on setting targets to optimise revenue and will have a sound knowledge of and working relationships within the commercial field of theatre programming. You will be responsible for delivering a financially and creatively sustainable programming schedule.
As an individual you will have excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, a confident manner and the ability to manage and motivate staff. Your planning and organisational skills will enable you to deliver services to meet the needs of the community and your creativity and enthusiasm will show in all aspects of your work.
