Opportunity for Scottish-based female composers

sound is pleased to announce that we will be offering a development opportunity for female composers based in Scotland as part of our soundcreators programme.

The opportunity will involve a residential weekend with musicians from Red Note Ensemble at the beginning of September and a performance of the developed new works at the 2018 soundfestival.

The deadline is 18th June 2018.

Eligibility Requirements:

You must be resident in Scotland

You must be available from the 7th-9th September 2018, and on Saturday 27th October 2018 (as well as for an earlier rehearsal in October tbc).

The soundcreators programme is funded by the Creative Scotland, Help Musicians UK and the PRS for Music Foundation.
