CALLS FOR SCORES
1) For the Noisy Night at 10pm, Friday 23rd October 2015 at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen (Part of the “In Cahoots” NMS Conference):
A general call for scores is made, maximum length 5 minutes. Maximum instrumentation Fl / Afl / Picc (Ruth Morley), Vc (Robert Irvine), Vibraphone (Tom Hunter) + tape. Full score and parts in pdf format to be submitted to John Harris (john@rednoteensemble.com) by close of business on Friday 16th October. Late submissions will not be accepted.
2) For the Noisy Night at 8pm, Monday 30th November 2015 in the Dissection Theatre, Summerhall, Edinburgh:
A general call for scores is made, maximum length 5 minutes. Maximum instrumentation Accordion (James Crabb), Vc (Robert Irvine), Tpt (Mark O Keefe) (no tape). Full score and parts in pdf format to be submitted to John Harris (john@rednoteensemble.com) by close of business on Monday 16th November. Late submissions will not be accepted. A composer’s handbook (written by James Crabb) on writing for the accordion is attached.
