Role Description & Information
At the heart of Tap to the App! is the engagement of older people in care homes in building and sharing personalised concert programmes. These programmes will form the basis of the live interactive events delivered by Music in Hospitals and enable the residents to develop their digital skills.
For almost 70 years Music in Hospitals has been improving the quality of life for adults and children with all kinds of illness and disability. Our aim is simple, it’s to bring the joy and therapeutic benefits of professionally performed live music to as many people as possible.
In Scotland we deliver around 1,700 concerts a year enabling more than 36,000 people to participate in live music from Shetland to the Borders and most points in between. Working with 97 professional musicians, covering a range of genres and styles, we tailor programmes and musical interactions to meet the needs of our audiences.
Tap to the App! will also pilot new approaches to our participatory practice.
We are seeking to work with a creative individual to bring this exciting initiative to life.
