I know we all still feel as young as the day we were born but if you happen to be aged 50 here is the grant for you!
In partnership with the Saltire Society, Luminate is delighted to offer one bursary of £2,000 to support an emerging artist aged 50 or over in the early development of a new creative idea.

In partnership with the Saltire Society, Luminate is delighted to offer one bursary of £2,000 to support an emerging artist aged 50 or over in the early development of a new creative idea.
Applications can come from all artforms but artists must be resident in Scotland.
Bursaries might support time in a studio and materials to create new work, a residency to afford the time and space to work on a new project, or collaboration with a dramaturg, choreographer and/or performers to workshop a new piece.
However, these are only examples.
This is an opportunity for older artists to define their own creative needs, and be supported to meet them.
Eligibility
The bursaries are open to artists aged 50 or over who have recently embarked on a new artistic career, including those who have trained at a young age and have returned to their practice later in life, those who have worked in the arts in different capacities and are now changing direction, and those who have come new to their artform in their later years.
Applicants must be resident in Scotland, though funded activity can take place anywhere.
