Jobs: ‘Amy Rowan Casting’ looking for Trad Musicians with €8k salary each

Amy Rowan Casting is looking for musicians and have provided the following brief. “We are looking for trad/folk musicians who can sing and play banjo, fiddle and/or bodhran. These musicians will play together and pretend to be friendly singing butchers in the ad! These characters are a mix of a friendly butcher and a folk musician playing the Sunday night session in the local pub. They are happy, friendly, approachable and passionate about the music. The playing will be mimed but will have to look credible and the singing will be live.”

The butchers should be aged between 25 and 60 and all male. If you are a solo artist but have other musicians who might join you for the audition please do let us know.

The auditions will take place on Wednesday, Dec 19th in Dublin.

Callbacks: January 4th TBC

Costume fittings: January 21th TBC

Shoot: January 24th

Photoshoot: January 25th.

You must be available for these dates in order to apply.

Fees for 3 main actor/musicians:

€8,250 per musician – full buyout across all media for 1 year, to include rehearsals, 1 x day shoot (Jan 24), buyout for TV – island of Ireland for 1 year,  online (to include VOD, digital display and social), radio (to include VO for script), print (to include photoshoot for print (Jan 25)).

Each actor/musician must also be open to appearances etc as Brady Family Ham may require them. Cost per appearance to be agreed prior to signing contract.

To include buyout option for year 2 and 3 at 10% uplift per year.
