ITAC and our strategic partner Community Arts Network are delighted to announce the second ITAC: IMPACT Climate Open Call!!
We invite teaching artists (also called participatory, community, citizen, or social practice artists) with a passion for using their artistry to combat climate change to submit applications.
Three teaching artists from around the world will be commissioned by ITAC to design and deliver participatory projects within their local communities from March 2022 – February 2023. Commissioned artists will join our growing international community of climate-conscious teaching artists and play an integral role in the final development of an online curriculum to be hosted on Kadenze in May 2022. ITAC will provide selected teaching artists with bespoke support in designing and evaluating their projects, as well as international opportunities for disseminating their work.
Selected by an International Advisory Panel, commissioned teaching artists will receive:
Remuneration of up to £8,000 GBP
Creative and administrative support from ITAC’s staff and Climate Collective
The opportunity for work to be disseminated across ITAC’s networks and presented at international conferences
The opportunity to influence global public discourse on climate change
Deadline for applications is Monday, 28th February, 2022
