Introduction to Alexander Technique (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland)

This course is designed to introduce students to the Alexander Technique for performance. It will cover the theory and practice of Alexander Technique and explore how it can be applied in a variety of

Alexander Technique is an educational process which incorporates hands-on work, movement skills and mindfulness.

It is unique in its emphasis on ‘non-doing’, a process which restores your default settings and eliminates the patterns of habitual interference that prevent us from reaching our potential.

Many performers use the Alexander Technique to support vocal and breathing work, to prevent pain and reduce stress and anxiety.
