I think it takes people involved at all levels of event management to be aware of the choices they’re making – making concious decisions to diversify their programming, and being aware of the marketing choices they make. Being aware can make a huge difference! #womenintrad

I feel there are still so many people out there who genuinely don’t believe there’s an issue with equality at all, because ‘they haven’t seen examples of it’. It is very difficult to provide concrete examples of unconscious bias. #womenintrad

Listening without judging or offering an opinion is a start. Letting people explain themselves and actively trying to understand, without dismissing their thoughts. Everyone is worried about being attacked. It’s such a fiery subject for people. #womenintrad
