Chamber Music Scotland is seeking a Scotland-based embedded musician/music creator to co-curate and deliver a creative chamber music programme for communities in Rutherglen during 2026.
The successful candidate will work with community groups at Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust and involve local residents, musicians, and other interest groups.
As an embedded musician, you will apply your creative practice and skills to collaborate with the community, creating music, fostering connections, and developing music activities.
This is a freelance, fixed-term position with a fee of up to £6000. The project will begin in January 2026 and is expected to conclude by December 2026.
We are looking for someone who aligns with our values, has a collaborative approach, and is keen to immerse themselves within a community for the project.
The opportunity is open to all, and we welcomes applications from individuals with lived experience of communities facing social deprivation.
