Edinburgh University Research Assistant (Music as Social Innovation – Research Project)

Edinburgh Colleague of Art at the University of Edinburgh seeks a pro-active and dynamic colleague to coordinate and support the research project, ”Music as Social Innovation’, funded by the Scottish Government.

Music as Social Innovation is a one year project providing access to, and evaluating the impact of, music activities for disadvantaged groups. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the project’s Principal and Co-Investigators ensuring the smooth administration of the project, assisting the overall research process, booking travel and accommodation, arranging project interviews, and workshops and managing social media dissemination.

The post-holder will also organise the meetings of the research project’s advisory board and other events and performances and support dissemination of the project’s activities including social media management. The post holder will also undertake literature searches and write summary documents as required.

This is a part time post at 14 hours per week, fixed-term for 12 months.

Salary Scale: Grade UE06, £27,285, – £31,604 per annum pro rata.
