The Distil Showcase is on Friday 10th April 2015 in Stirling Tolbooth, 8pm. The concert will feature 10 new pieces of music written by composers who have taken part in the Distil Residential. Grainne Brady has written the piece “A Time to Heal”. Here is some information on it.
This piece tells an unfinished story about the healing process. It begins afresh, like the dawn of the day and slowly moves into a waltz which has it’s ups and downs. Then it gradually builds up into a lively determined reel.
