Bòrd na Gàidhlig will be hosting workshops on “developing successful creative and cultural projects” in Inverness (18 September), Fort William (19 September) and Oban (20 September).
These workshops are for organisations or individuals engaged with the Gaelic cultural sector. VENUE: Furan Gaelic Centre, Corran Halls, Oban, Thursday, 20 September 2018..
WORKSHOP 1 – DEVELOPING YOUR PROJECT (10am-12pm)
Working with boards, colleagues, committees and partners in developing short, medium and long-term projects
Developing ideas, budgets, management structures and audience needs
Identifying funding streams and resources
Writing a strong funding application
WORKSHOP 2 – DELIVERING A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT (1pm-3pm)
Getting the right people with appropriate skills for the job
Putting Gaelic at the heart of the project
Engaging with your audience and effective routes to reach your market
Social Media and online communications
Project monitoring, evaluation and reporting
EVENING WORKSHOP – CONDENSED WORKSHOP 1 & 2 (7pm-9pm)
For those unable to make the daytime workshops
Participants will have an opportunity to network with others working in the sector as well as speak with staff of public/funding bodies. These workshops are free of charge and open to all relevant participants.
